78^th ANNUAL MEETING

Little Rock, Arkansas

November 9–12, 2022

The 2022 Southeastern Archaeological Conference will be held at the Doubletree Marriott/Robinson Center in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas.

Little Rock is conveniently located along I-40. For those who prefer to fly, the venue is just a short, free shuttle ride from the Clinton International Airport (LIT).

Thursday Night Reception:

The Thursday night welcome reception will be held at the beautiful Old State House Museum right next door to the Doubletree.

Saturday Excursions:

We have three wonderful excursion options for Saturday : Toltec Mounds State Park, a Little Rock Central High School streetscape guided tour, and a trip up to Petit Jean Mountain to view some of the amazing rock art in Arkansas. [Please note: the trips to Toltec Mounds and Petit Jean Mountain are sold out as of October 18th!]

Saturday Public Day:

We will also be hosting a Public Day on Saturday at the Old State House museum to which the general public of Little Rock, and Arkansas more generally, will be invited.
