The Executive Committee of the Pre-Columbian Society of Washington, D.C. announces their upcoming symposium entitled “The Pre-Columbian Heritage of the National Park System” that will take place in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 16, 2017.
Speakers will include experts on such important sites as Poverty Point, Chaco Canyon, Bandelier, Hopewell, and others. The moderator will be Stanley Bond, chief archaeologist of the National Park Service.
