AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Staff Archaeologist / Crew Chief and Project Archaeologist / Field Director. Both will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Staff Archaeologist will also provide support to cultural resource projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic, East Coast, and greater US, as available. The Staff Archaeologist will have knowledge of field excavation techniques, assist with archaeological inventory, evaluation, and data recovery efforts, analyze prehistoric and historic artifacts, and assist in the preparation of compliance reports.

The Project Archaeologist will provide support to cultural resource projects predominately in North Carolina, but may support project throughout the Mid-Atlantic, greater US, and potentially international work, as available. The Archaeologist will have knowledge of field excavation techniques, implement archaeological inventory, evaluation, and data recovery efforts, analyze prehistoric and historic artifacts, and prepare compliance reports.
