The Florida Museum (FM) is hiring an experienced full-time Collections Manager for Florida Archaeology and Caribbean Archaeology within the Department of Natural History. Responsibilities include improving, maintaining, and facilitating access to collections, seeking funds for collections improvements, developing the database, training and supervising assistants and students, managing operating and personnel budgets, assisting with updating and managing NAGPRA inventories, and participating in laboratory and field research and education programs. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in anthropology or archaeology and extensive experience in the archaeology of Florida, the greater southeastern U.S., and the Caribbean.
