Applicants are sought for a postdoctoral fellowship on an interdisciplinary team conducting innovative geoarchaeological research on the continental shelf of the Georgia Bight. The research will apply both new and existing technologies to assess the inner continental shelf for proxy evidence of prehistoric archaeology and paleontology sites. Skills should include: marine geology/geophysics, use of Remotely-Operated Vehicle (ROV) technology, scientific diving, photogrammetry, prehistoric archaeology of eastern North America, soil/sediment analysis, GIS, SEM-EDX/XRD, petrography and/or zooarchaeology/paleontology.
