Archaeological Technicians, Louisiana Public Archaeology Lab
The Louisiana Public Archaeology Lab will be hiring two archaeological technicians to assist with CRM investigations, including Phase I archaeological surveys, throughout Louisiana. Pending administrative approval, these are 12-month, non-tenure track appointments as Research Scientists at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Archaeological technicians will conduct fieldwork under the supervision of the project director and program manager, assist with background research, and the analyses and cataloging of artifact collections. Minimum qualifications include a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology and an archaeology field school or comparable training, internship, or experience in archaeological field and lab methods.
