The Department of Anthropology at Washington University invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured appointment at the Assistant or Associate professor rank in Anthropological Archaeology, beginning August 2019.
We seek a New World paleoethnobotanist. An active research program involving field studies is a requirement for this position. The successful candidate is expected to work with graduate students in developing research projects and have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. Duties include teaching courses, advising students, conducting sponsored research, writing for publication, and university service.
